Minimum Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- Be computer literate
- Have 0-1 year of experience in a relevant field
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of SOCPEN, Legislation, Policy, Procedure & Standards (Social Assistance Act)
- Understanding of the SASSA Act, Social Assistant delegations, and procedures
- Organizational awareness and arrangements
Key Performance Areas:
As a Call Centre Agent, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and placing calls
- Registering and escalating incoming calls
- Investigating and providing feedback
- Updating information on the Integrated Customer Care Application
- Monitoring and following up on requests
- Attending to email inquiries
- Providing customer education and directing calls to relevant officials
