Job Details:

Minimum Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, candidates must:

  • Hold a Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
  • Be computer literate
  • Have 0-1 year of experience in a relevant field

Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of SOCPEN, Legislation, Policy, Procedure & Standards (Social Assistance Act)
  • Understanding of the SASSA Act, Social Assistant delegations, and procedures
  • Organizational awareness and arrangements

Key Performance Areas:

As a Call Centre Agent, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and placing calls
  • Registering and escalating incoming calls
  • Investigating and providing feedback
  • Updating information on the Integrated Customer Care Application
  • Monitoring and following up on requests
  • Attending to email inquiries
  • Providing customer education and directing calls to relevant officials
